Our Research
The Discipline of Occupational Therapy has a staff of eleven Occupational Therapists, one Psychologist and a Social Policy specialist who delivers lecturers on a part-time basis. The research interests and expertise of staff range across such diverse areas as Occupational Therapy with Children and Adolescents; Occupational Therapy with Older Adults; Occupational Therapy in Mental Health; Occupational Therapy in Rheumatology & Orthoepaedics; Occupation and Occupational Performance; Assessment Practices; Personal/Professional Development; Clinical Outcomes/Evidence Based Practice; Driving; Disability Studies / Issues and Quality of Life; Play & Leisure Interests across the lifespan; Partnership Models in Service Delivery; Social, Wellness and Occupational Therapy Models and Criminal Justice.
This expertise is available to all research students who would have proposals for research in any of these areas.
