Our Research

The department's research interests incorporate applied and aetiological epidemiology, clinical trials and laboratory-based studies exploring the pathogenesis of pregnancy related disorders, hormone-related throbosis and benign and malignant gynaecological disease.  We are externally funded by the Health Research Board, the Emer Casey Foundation, the Health Service executive and Hospital-Based charities at the Coombe Women and Infants University Hospital and the Rotunda Hospital.
